Great CVS Trip 9/28

I am still looking for the Reinventing Beauty Magazine...I even took in a picture of the Magazine to show. The cashier today knew exactly what it was but she couldn't find it. I told her I have been looking for this magazine for months and haven't found it. Hopefully they may get it in soon!

So then I went to the Pharmacy to ask them about the $100 coupon book. They had it there but they haven't been given any instructions on it so they wouldn't give it out. Their shots don't start until October 13th and the letter in the box says that the coupons don't start until October 1. That is why he wouldn't give me one.
Next stop was to the checkout, I would have loved to have gotten more of the Bounce Dryer Bars but they only had three. Actually was surprised that they still had three. So this is what I bought:

3 Bounce Dryer Bar @ $4 each

3 Tide Stain Release @ $4 each

1 Dawn @ $1 each

Used:

(1) $1 Dawn (mailer?)

(1) $2.50 Bounce Dryer Bar -VocalPoint

(2) $1.50 Bounce Dryer Bar -VocalPoint

(1) $1.50 Tide Stain Release - Magazine from home -I have lots of these but didn't pick them up UGH!

(2) $1.00 Tide Stain Release - for some reason I had these!

$ 5/25 Flu Survey Coupon

$ 9.98 ECB

Subtotal = .02 + tax!

Received $10.00 ECB for buying $25 of P&G products!

Summery is that after ECB's paid and ECB's earned all I paid was tax for these!

I had $12 ECB's that were going to expire Tuesday so a trip to CVS was needed. I had a coupon for $1 on the Crest but couldn't find it! Also, couldn't find my $5/25 coupon. Monday Shopping 8/3

CVS
Tomorrow I plan on going back to CVS and see what they have left in school supplies. I have my eyes on the book covers especially for DD. I will get rain checks for whatever they don't have. Plus hope they have some of the Softsoap.

Walgreen's
I haven't been inside a Walgreen's in 2-3 weeks! It looks like they have some good deals this week. So will see what they have and report back.

Rite Aid
It looks like there are some money makers again at Rite Aid this week.

I am hoping to get all of my shopping done Monday. I have so much to get done for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner, but before that we are hosting an exchange student from Brazil. She will be here in less than 2 weeks! And I am Hosting A DOG PARTY with Chef Michael's from HouseParty!

CVS - Electrasol and Pampers

Saturday I decided to see if I could get the Sunday deals on Saturday at my CVS. The manager said if the signs were up then the deal was going. So I ended up getting my 5 Electrasols (sorry to anyone else, that is all they had) and 2 Pampers so I had more out of pocket then planned on. But it was still a great deal.

Purchased:
2 Pampers cost = 2/$20
5 Electrasol cost = 2/9 ($22.50)

used
5 Electrasol $2.50 cpns
2 Pampers $2.00 cpns from the $120 P&G coupon booklet
$20.85 ECBs (I had ended up with a $15 ECB so this deal worked OK)

Spent OOP $6.69 included tax

Received $15 ECBs (5 + 10)

The Electrasol ended up .50 each and I spent $12.54 total for the diapers. I have had better deals on diapers but these were the 1s which I have had a hard time finding when the deals are on. If anyone is wondering why I need diapers-I have three girls pregnant or just delivered!

ps my free gift was CVS aspirin

CVS Money Maker!!

Spent OOP $1.04 and Received $10.00 ECBs

If you can see these through the flowers and the sun (DD wanted to take pics outside.) We went to the JC Penny's today and stopped off at CVS first. This deal worked so smoothly. The problem was finding them. It took a little while. Found the eyeglass cases first, actually had them in hand when I walked into these. They were with the beauty aisles on a small plastic strip. Cashier loved the deal. Said she "would just have to go get some of those."

Cost .99 each

Used $1 ECB

OOP $1.04 - this included tax

Received $10 ECBs

CVS Great Money Maker $$

Thanks to Jenny at Southern Savers, she has been alerted to a huge moneymaker at CVS! It looks like the StyleScience Lens Cleansing Cloths are priced at .99. Buy 2 and you will get $10 Extra Care Bucks! Moneymaker! This is a hidden deal that is part of the buy 2 get a $10 ECB sunglasses deal. Limit looks to be one per household. This also seems to be working on the Car Cleansing Cloths .99 each and on the StyleScience Glass Lens Case $1.99 each. Remember you have to buy two to get the reward. I am heading there first thing in the morning!!
