Wedding Shower

We have had several expected rain showers and several unexpected rain showers lately, but none have been as fun and enlightening as the shower that DD, my friend and I went to today. My sons fiances' wedding shower was today. They will be getting married the beginning of September. I was so surprised when I walked in and got a little chocked up. The wedding is only 6 weeks away. My DD and I won tickets to see "Mame." We went to see it tonight and it was fun. I am so glad we took the time and drive to go to the theatre. There was a 7th grade boy who played Patrick that was fantastic - besides Mame- she was great too. And the ice cream stop after was a nice treat to top it off.
